しもやけ

Almost every two or three years my fingers are swollen during the coldest season, usually in February.  A Parisienne said French people do not suffer from such unsightly skin conditions.  Can chic people refuse to be affected?  I thought it was one of their privileges.  However, a few days after I met the Parisienne
I realized my fingers were healed.  What I did was to go to Britain to stay for a week.  Was it because of the European climate, or the air pressure in the plane?  This year my fingers are red and swolllen.  I wish I were in London.  What I am trying is to apply plasters.  Somebody on the internet noted that しもやけ is one of the conditions that plasters can deal with.   in fact on the box of the plasters it reads they are effective against stiff shoulders, muscular pains, back pains, sprains and at the end of all, しもやけ.  I hope these will work.
