I love the 朝ドラ ‘おかえりモネ‘ for the loving, kind and reassuring relationships the heroine builds with those involved in her life, especially Suganami sensei, of course, and others.  However, this week it was a disappointment solely because of the absurd desire to win more audience rating.  They have followed the foolish strategy of the commercial broadcasting channels which usually bloat audience's expectation by insinuating or rather advertising that the climax is immediately coming though actually it will be much later, in a few hours.  Last weekend they let us expect he will visit her for her birthday; he will be coming all the way from Tome to Tokyo, so it will be a very special occasion.  This week from Monday till Friday we have been waiting for the moment to come in vain.  This week the drama has been superb with the focus, say,  on brave and considerate female boss; without such a bloating the audience would have kept their loyalty.  I think the staff have to apologize to the script writer and the actors who have meticulously attempted to build the precious characters who always invite us audience to be kind to others.    Nowadays the TV programmers can be enjoyed in various ways and, for example, Monee are watched at 7:00, 8:00, 12:45 and anytime on NHK plus.  Does the audience rating system catch up with the multiplicity of the opportunities?  It is quite futile to be obsessed with the number, the audience rating.  The staff who made the preview for this week should seriously review what they have done.
