something new

We are booking our seats at a restaurant.  I intended to try a new restaurant, consulting some websites.  However in the end we have decided on somewhere we already have been to several times.  I know it is ridiculous to behave like a young, curious and adventurous person or an overnight affected food enthusiast who is easily influenced by Michelin-like information.  It is all the more true when there is somewhere frequented for good reasons.  I am completely satisfied with our decision and am sure we will be happy to be there.  Still, I feel sorry for the stagnant mentality to play safe.  We should be open to new attempts and I like novelty.  Although I need fresh air, as I am getting old it is increasingly difficult to step out of the routine.
As far as breakfast is concerned and also my lunch as well, I am a person to stick to a set routine.  I do not mind at all the same breakfast every day all the year round.  Once a pattern is established, I would stick to it until B finally complains.   How many successive fried eggs did we have?  You won't blame B when you know how many.  Thanks to the repeated cooking, I have gained the knack of making a perfect fried egg.  But in fact a few days ago B after all complained.  I have switched to scrambled eggs.  Unfortunately or fortunately nobody has complained about my lunch, so my lunch box contains regular sandwiches with Fallot mustard, cheese and cucumber with occasional ham.  I do not know I am aspiring for novelty or regularity

An impulsive memo to record a successful chocolate cake baked impulsively in the home bakery machine:
butter 60g
Sugar 50g
milk half tablespoonful
Egg 1
flour 90g
Baking powder 4g
Couverture chocolate 50g
Chocolate powder
It is possible I used two eggs instead of one
