morning glory
What a glorious gradation of shade it has!
it looks like something done by a skillful dyer. in fact it is a morning glory, of a dwarf or droopimg kind.

We sowed seeds on 15 Feb. Now they are growing; spinatches, komatsuna, radish, mini bok choy, leaf lettuce, rucola, etc. We thinned out some, which were for lunch.

I did like Amanda Seyfried as the face of Cle de peau. She is the ideal beauty with her thoughtful and bright green eyes. I wish she were with them, but she is with Lancome now! I realized yesterday.

I was one of the 'monitors' whom the company sent out samples to try the new product and encouraged for reviews.
I have got samples of the new 'voile creme correcteur'. As I expected, and everyone probably did, this is great. It fits well on the skin. Sometimes a makeupbase feels a layer on the skin, but this becomes part of skin, it seems. And it does the wonderful work of 'correction'. For a whole day it is very good. So, it fits and covers well while it does not suffocate the skin. I am curious to know if it improves the skin by continuing using it. I cannot say with the tiny three sachets sample.

Lots of photos of the flowers in the garden. It's fun especially in March. White margaret, pink margaret, pink and white tulips, viola, etc. I paid attention to one of the trees not yet blooming, because it has a lump of mantes eggs. Looking at the photo on the computer screen, what a surprise! There is a tiny little one on it. I did not realize it at all outside in the garden. Sceneries are better seen than taken by devices, but sometimes photos can make more interesting discoveries. What my shortsighted eyes could not see was captured by my good camera, which was not in use in the morning because I had neglected it, making its battery dead.
Alice Exhibition at Shizuoka City Museum of Art
It is really a good exhibition to enjoy. It focuses on pictorial depiction of Alice through the ages. We had liked John Tenniel's. We had known Rackham, as B loves him, giving our daughter long time ago two of his Midsummer Midsummer Night's Dream prints. We now know Rackham's Alice with the Mock Turtle and Gryphon is superb. There are many other wonderful Alices. Probably epoch-making was Dali's. Most of others have something in common, but Dali's Alice seems to be quite unique.
Another information new to us was that Seitoku University invested well. Many are owned by the university. Great, delightful and interesting assets.
The exhibition will be on in Shizuoka till 29 March 2020. Missing it will be regretted.
